Busy parents can learn and stay informed on the special needs community with special needs podcasts

In this day and age, information and resources are a click away. Parents of special needs children have many more opportunities to stay up to date and informed on the special needs community, caregiver tips, and general information than ever before.

Unfortunately, not everyone has as much time as they would like to read up on the latest news and information that could be really beneficial for a parent of a special needs child. This is where newer information outlets like podcasts can bridge the gap.

Podcasts are radio show-esque online programs that have an overall theme. Whether it be current events, cooking, science, you name it. Podcasts are broken up into episodes that you can download or stream live on the internet. Most popular podcasts are available on Itunes, Spotify, and other lesser known platforms easily found with a quick search on Google.

An added benefit of podcasts is being able to listen to them anywhere, anytime. Parents can grab headphones and listen to an interesting new podcast episode while folding laundry, cooking dinner, and even driving. We want to give you every chance to stay informed and become educated in the special needs community.

Here is our list of special needs podcasts you need to listen to:

She does not claim to know the answers for her child nor yours but does promise to search for them and share what she is discovering along the way. You will quickly find her getting things right just as often as wrong. These mishaps will also be openly shared as we all fumble through this journey together”
