Everyone here at SMILE would like to take the time recognize and honor the memory of John Nunzio of Bloomingdale, 75, who passed away on February 1, 2018. John was born with developmental disabilities and doctors believed he wouldn’t be able to have a productive life because of them. To say he beat the odds is an understatement. John was able to complete school and work in the kitchen of Fairview Hospital in Massachusetts for 30 years, a remarkable accomplishment. His positive attitude and easy going approach to life’s many challenges was an inspiration to many and will continue to be for those who knew John. SMILE gives our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of John, may he Rest in Peace.
